About You

The success of your patients’ care matters to you, and your success matters to us.
Horseshoe Lake Animal Hospital is looking for a Kennel Attendant to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.
At HLAH, you’ll feel the warmth and culture of a small hospital. As a hospital deeply rooted in the local community, you will experience the best of both worlds: a genuine local culture with the benefits of Thrive's national resources.
About The Hospital
At Horseshoe Lake Animal Hospital, we offer primary care, urgent care, boarding, grooming, bathing, and dentistry for dogs, cats, and pocket pets in Collinsville, Granite City, Edwardsville, Maryville, and Fairview Heights.
We have a strong belief in preventive care, offering customized vaccine protocols and multiple levels of disease detection panels at our patients’ annual visits.
Our hospital also prides itself on having state-of-the-art equipment including a digital X-ray machine like those used in human medicine. The digital X-ray machine allows us to take high-quality radiographs in seconds and gives our doctors images with better diagnostic quality. We also offer cold laser therapy to help treat pain and inflammation in a wide variety of conditions. This often allows us to decrease the amount of pain medications needed to control painful conditions like arthritis and intervertebral disk disease.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in animal care or other related fields is preferred but not required

- Handle general care tasks such as feeding and bathing of the animals
- Assist in restraining animals for veterinary team members
- Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
