Description
F/T, P/T Veterinarians: EverPaw- Providing Compassionate At-Home End-of-Life Care
Location: Greater Chicago Area (Mobile Practice)
Salary: Competitive and based on experience and hours desired
Who we are:
We are a small, dedicated team of experienced and honest people focused on making a meaningful impact. Our passion for the wellness of veterinarians and end-of-life care for companion animals inspired us to create a new company with a singular goal: to honor the human-animal bond by bringing peace, dignity, and compassion to pets and their families during one of life’s most difficult moments.
We offer gentle, in-home euthanasia services to families in the greater Chicago area — giving beloved pets the chance to pass in the comfort of their own homes, surrounded by familiar sights and smells as well as the people who love them most. We understand firsthand how important it is for both pets and their families to experience a peaceful, pain-free goodbye in a private, calm setting.
At the same time, we recognize the emotional toll this vital service can have on veterinary professionals. Providing end-of-life care is incredibly rewarding , but can also be extremely heavy. For this reason, our mission extends to supporting the wellness of the veterinary caregivers..
As a result of this commitment to pets and their families as well as to veterinary teams, EverPaw was born. We're building a team of veterinarians who share our enthusiasm and values. We present a unique opportunity for you to help shape excellence for our patients, their families, and for those delivering this essential care.
What awaits you at EverPaw:
We’ve got your back: We provide a supportive environment based on individual needs while always upholding high standards of care for pets and their families. Our responsive, proactive team will handle scheduling logistics, phone triage, financial discussions, appointment preparation, and cremation coordination so that you can focus on your patients.
Grow with us: We offer ongoing training in at-home euthanasia best practices as well as career advancement and leadership opportunities if/as desired. We encourage your input and feedback; collaboration is instrumental. Continuing Education allowance is provided.
Enjoy the open road: Practice autonomously in a mobile practice setting. Choose your preferred drug protocols as well as your work days and driving zones.
Work to Live: Benefit from a flexible schedule and pursue life outside of work on your terms. We are open 7 days per week. While a 20-35 hour time commitment is expected, there are no after-hour requirements.
