Pawspital is hiring full-time team members in Chicago, Illinois 60610.
Positions and hourly pay
- Client Service Representative / Veterinary Receptionist: 1–2 openings, $17.50–$21 per hour.
- Veterinary Assistant / Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT): 3–6 openings total, $17.50–$25 per hour.
Pay within each range depends on experience and qualifications.
Reception / client service
Welcome clients, coordinate appointments, manage calls and records, assist with check-in/check-out and payments, and refer medical questions to the clinical team.
Veterinary Assistant / CVT
Support safe animal handling, veterinarian-directed patient care, preparation and cleaning of clinical areas, documentation, and client instructions as directed. CVTs perform nursing, diagnostic, surgical and anesthesia support appropriate to their credentials and required supervision.
Qualifications
Compassionate animal care, dependable teamwork and clear communication. Relevant veterinary or client-service experience is welcome. CVT applicants must hold the appropriate current Illinois credential. Veterinary assistant and receptionist applicants do not need a CVT credential.
